No-fee broker Robinhood has opened cryptocurrency trading to Colorado, Wisconsin, Mississippi and New Mexico residents after the initiative got off to a good start in the first quarter in California, Montana, Missouri and Massachusetts.

Rival ChoiceTrade recently hooked up with Millennium BlockChain and is expected to offer cryptocurrency trading after it expands technology systems and partners with crypto exchanges later this year.

The Puerto Rico-based broker currently offers commission-free trading on U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs through a desktop and mobile platform that can also access deeply discounted options commissions.

The investment bank will open trading to bitcoin futures in coming weeks while it takes additional time to create a proprietary and more flexible version of the futures contract, known as a non-deliverable forward.

Daily forex trading volume in April fell to $11.7 billion at Saxo Bank, marking the lowest client participation since December 2017.

Other E.U. forex brokers including iForex, FxPro, FXCM and CMC Markets could post equally weak results, with world currency markets churning through relatively narrow trading ranges, awaiting the economic fallout of the Federal Reserve rate hike and worldwide trade tensions.

Forex markets are also headed into the summer months, when many E.U. account holders turn off their trading screens and go on holiday.
