ATLANTA, Georgia – Rubicon Global, the leading provider of waste and recycling solutions, has hired seasoned strategist Michael Allegretti to lead its public policy efforts.
Allegretti comes to Rubicon from Uber, where he oversaw public policy, political and community engagement strategy in New York, the company’s largest market.
His success in forging a path for Uber’s technology-driven transportation model will be invaluable to Rubicon, which is seeking similar disruption through technology in the waste and recycling industry.

As Rubicon’s head of public policy, Allegretti will focus on building relationships with municipalities across the country, driving the company’s efforts tos upport zero-waste initiatives, and educating the public on the importance of creating a more sustainable waste and recycling model.
